omg… dude… *bangs head on desk*
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
i can’t even watch this. great videos but ten year olds should be watching this. i feel anyone older should know this by now.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
3:33 enrages me.
You can’t block out x-rays without also blocking out light and radio waves!
This is why people should be required to know more science. If they were, this guy would be out on his ass 5 minutes into his first lecture.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
You would think he could look at a textbook or ask a real scientist before telling people about this.He clearly has something wrong in his head.I’d love to see him try to publish a book about his theories.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
These scoffers are willfully ignorant? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. LMFAO!!!! OMG. Seriously? Isn’t this guy in prison? What a douche.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
my headache ist getting even worse because of that “science” …
i can do “science” me … arrrrghh
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
get used to it its from the first blade movie.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
sorry i wanted to say that today we have 20% instead of 80 i twisted arond it even went up to 31%in mezoique time
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
The oxygen level has never been that high.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
Water rubs against itself and heats up. Listen. And inorder for the ice to last that long, brfore belting and falling it would have to be thicker then the creationist model.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
I don’t actually want to but in all fairness:
You are a total idiot.
The difference between a human body and a 1000km thick water / ice layer is… guess what, the thickness. A water/ice layer as thick as that will eventually stop all kinds of radiation. The density is too high. When people get x-rayed the x-rays have to go through 0,2-0,5 m of human body. There is a big difference between 0,5m flesh and 1000 0000m water/ice.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
funny how he felt the need to explain the concept of willful ignorance
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
*disgusting*
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
That explosion was discusting. : /
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
I think creationist should stay away from science they’re just embarrassing themselves.
they should just spend they’re time kneeling and praying for Jesus to come back to earth.

@ 0:51 - Hovind even spelled breathe wrong.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
According to fossils we know there was dragonflies with a 2 meter wingspan (about 7-8 feet) long ago. This is not possible today because as you stated: oxygen levels have been higher in the distant past.
Since insects have a rather complicated air supply system they aren’t allowed by today’s oxygen levels to grow any larger than they do.
However, the Oxygen levels in the atmosphere has never been above 30% (if I remember correctly) definitely never as high as 80% as mystisme suggests.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
Oxygen levels have been higher in the distant (to our timeframe) past. It is hypothesized that these higher oxygen levels allowed animals such as the dinosaurs to exist with such a large size.
What Hovind is trying to show is that we used to live to be 900 years old as is proclaimed of Noah, and also to somehow tie together ideas of the great flood, dinosaurs, and humans living so long. Basically, Thunderfoot is showing the absurdity of these ideas.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
The point is that Thunderfoot is IGNORING key laws in Physics, and then still showing that these creationist “theories” are still absurd. Creationists pick and choose their science to back up their beliefs without looking at the whole picture. For example, you have just said yourself that the Ice would melt, and not form ice at the poles of the Earth. Ignoring that, if the Ice were to hit the planet, it would cause thermal and kinetic devastation, not a flood.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
it seems to me this guy nit picks. he takes an illustration, or one line that someone draws or says and blows it out of proportion. one of his points in this video was hw thick the ice was around the earth in the illustration hovind created. you cant make a “to scale” model of the earth when your talking abouta couple meters… and another thing, water boils at 100 degrees celcius, the water would just float around in our atmosephere… all that math is hard to follow one time through…
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
watch EVOLUTION DECEIT !
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
if you actually read those passages in the bible you’d easily be able to prove this moron wrong.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
Well no, the water in our bodies is not enough to stop X-rays, but this guy is talking about 800km of ice.
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 am
Wait…. water stops x-rays? Then how do people get their arms and legs x-rayed when they break them, if we’re 70% water?
These people are SO stupid it’s just sad. If you have faith, fine, but don’t try to bullshit your faith so it sounds like science when it isn’t. If you really have faith, you wouldn’t need to try and explain it this way.

Very funny and educational
